My story

Hear about Kenrick’s story, and why he started doing this practice (in short, covid lockdown and losing his mind), He went to the beach and drew in the sand, and felt calm. Also as someone who has ADHD it helps him to keep busy, be creative and enjoy nature.

Mindfulness

The lesson will start with a few minutes to stop, sit and become aware of our surroundings. We will do a short guided mindfulness breathing exercise.

Sand Art Basics

You will be shown some basic techniques of sand art using bamboo, string, and a rake. Then you will begin in your own circles where you can create as you wish or with guidance from Kenrick.

All equipment provided.

All welcome. It is an active practice, so some physical fitness is required, you will walk between 2-4kms.
