Ed Sheeran
-
A collaboration with Ed Sheeran and Warner Music New Zealand.
I was commissioned alongside a group of international artists to create sand art representing tracks from Ed Sheeran's album ‘Subtract’. The sombre track “Sycamore" was chosen for New Zealand and my design draws inspiration from the watercolour album art, and from the heartfelt lyrics of struggle and loss. Filmed at sunrise at Moturiki Island, Mount Maunganui.

-
To celebrate 50 years of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, (Māori language week 2025), I created a large-scale chalk artwork on grass for Papamoa Primary School. The design, reading Kia Kaha Te Reo Māori, was made using my new environmentally friendly chalk and water spray technique.

Designed by New Zealand land artist Kenrick Smith, it celebrated Tip Top’s summer spirit using low-impact sand art techniques that leave no trace.

Led by Kenrick Smith, the session blended mindfulness and creativity as teams designed their own sand designs on the beach. The 55 staff posed around a 30-metre Dulux dog raked in the sand. A celebration of teamwork, innovation, and sustainability.

Held on beaches across Aotearoa, each session invites teams to connect through sand art—using natural materials to create large-scale designs that inspire calm, communication, and creativity.

Envirohub
-
Commissioned by Envirohub BOP this 45-metre sand art labyrinth was created at Mount Maunganui Beach to mark Plastic Free July 2024 and New Zealand’s single-use plastic phase-out. The artwork featured a central Blue Whale drawn to scale symbolizing the impact of plastic pollution on marine life. Inspiring the community to connect, reflect, and take action for a sustainable future.

Waterbourne
-
Created for the Waterbourne Beach Festival and the GWA Wingfoil World Cup, this large-scale sand art installation at Mount Maunganui Beach promoted the event while celebrating coastal sustainability and New Zealand’s ocean culture.
